LAKEVIEW has a diverse history from its original inhabitants the Iroquois- speaking natives, the first airport in Canada, a cottage community for Torontonians, the Lakeview generating station (1958 to 2005) and in the future - a large urban development slated to reside on the old generating station and adjacent lands called Inspiration Lakeview (which is a City of Mississauga initiative).

Long gone are the four sisters welcoming us back home after a long race on Lake Ontario. But a new chapter begins. Amazing growth potential exists here.
