Inspiration Lakeview...


"Inspiration Lakeview" is a City of Mississauga project.  They are proposing over 10,000 new housing units and between 7,000 and 9,000 new jobs for this area.

​The area outlined in red is the proposed new development.. the blue outline is it's area of influence which consists of existing residential and commercial lands.

Many developers are focused on Lakeview's potential and building mid-size developments and in-fill properties. Call me to find out more or if you are interested in purchasing a home in this up and coming neighbourhood.

What's Happened so far

2006 - The smoke stacks for the Lakeview Power Generating Plant were demolished

2011 - Inspiration Lakeview visioning process was undertaken

2014 -  Inspiration Lakeview Master Plan was prepared

2016 - First draft of the Official Plan Policies were presented to council.

2017  -  Staff worked with internal and external stakeholders to revise policies and resolve issues.

2018  - Release of revised land use policies -  Announcement of new owners of the  OPG lands (Lakeview Community Partners - LCP)  -  Final draft policies ready for release  -
